How many types of seaweed are edible?

    There are many types of edible seaweed. However, the most common ones include: Hijiki, wakame, nori, Agar-Agar, Dulse, Kombu, AraTypes of edible seaweede, and Cochayuyo. On a larger scale, out of the 25,000 known algae species, only 50 is edible.
