How many tribes live in the rainforest?

There are around 50,000 people who live in the rain forest in a myriad of tribes. The exact number is unknown, but there are are some major groups, such as the Pygmies, Huli, and Yanomami. The people of the rain forest are as important as the animals that dwell in them. When rain forests are cut down, tribes that live closely with the rain forest loose their homes and ability to survive.
