How many trees does one person kill in a lifetime from paper usage?

The average person uses about 680 pounds of paper per year.  The average life expectancy in the US is about 78 years, so this comes to 53,040 pounds per lifetime.  There are 2000 pounds in a ton, so this equates to 26.52 tons of paper.  And because one ton of paper uses about 17 trees (35′ tall), roughly 451 trees are “killed” per person’s lifetime.
