how many trees can be saved by recycling a tone of paper

  1. 0 Votes

This is highly dependent on the type of paper one would be making from the trees.

1 ton of newsprint paper uses 12 trees.

1 ton of office print paper uses 24 trees.

If you plan on buying paper that contains recycled paper you can expect to save 7.2 trees if you buy 1 ton of 30% post-consumer copier paper.

You can also expect to save 12 trees if you buy 1 ton of 50% post-consumer copier.
