How many trees are there in the Amazon rain forest?

    The Amazon Rainforest encompasses over one billion acres of land and in the average acre of rainforest, there are 235 saplings and hardwood trees.  I would assume, then, that the amazon rainforest probably has upward of 250 billion trees!
