How many trees are planted by logging companies every year?

Logging companies actually cut down more trees than they do plant, and the process is hard to overlook, considering deforestation accounts for a great deal of carbon dioxide emissions that contribute to global warming. Despite that fact, logging companies do pay a special fee to fund for their destruction of forests. In one year, over 2.3 billion seedlings were planted in the United States, and nearly 55% of those were planted by forest products industries and private timberland companies.
