How many states have peregrine falcons?

The peregrine falcon is incredibly widespread–it’s found on all continents except Antarctica.  13 states have peregrines at some time in the year, but they are all in states on the Western half of the country–there aren’t even any in the Dakotas, Kansas, or Nebraska.  Check out this link, which includes a map of the range of the peregrine falcon and information on their migratory pattern, for more information.
