How many stars have been charted in the known universe?

That’s a tough question to answer with absolute certainty because of the immensity of the universe and the estimates that are necessary to calculate any sort of number. I was able to find two different estimates that were quite different. The first estimate is 70 sextillion (7 followed by 22 zeroes!). The second estimate is 10 billion trillion stars. Check out the sources and see which logic you agree with more.
