The Galapagos ocean waters are home to at least 3000 species of plants and animals. More than 700,000 migratory seabirds can be seen on the island.
I really hope that eco tourism doesn’t destroy what we have tried to protect for so long.
According to the World Wildlife Fund, the Galapagos Islands and their surrounding waters are home to some 9,000 species of plants and animals! Some are travelers settling from abroad, but a majority are rare endemic species, a result of the geographical isolation of the islands.
