How many species live so deep in the ocean they don’t see sunlight?

There are thousands of species that live in the deep sea.  The number recorded in November was 17,650 species that live below 656 feet, which is the point where sunlight is no longer visible.  However, new deep sea species are continually being found, so there is no definite answer to this question.
