    The Great Barrier Reef is home to more than 1,500 species of fish, including damselfish, tiger sharks, whale sharks, wrasses and tuskfish.

    Over 1,500 species of fish are supported by the Great Barrier Reef.  On top of that, it is also home to over 600 species of hard coral, 7,000 mollusks, 30 types of whales and dolphins, and many more.  This is why it is so critical that it be protected!
