More than 50 between 1874 and 1974. It is generally believed, however, that the idea that there are strange forces at work in the so-called “Bermuda Triangle” is pseudoscientific at best. Many argue that the area, proportionally, has no more cases of missing ships than any other portion of earth’s navigable waters. However, folklore is persistent, and strange things will always be a source of speculation.
