How many pounds of copper gets recycled every year?

Copper is 100% recyclable to the same quality as it was originally mined. It is the third most recycled mineral after iron and aluminum, and it is estimated that 80% of copper that was ever mined is still in use today.

So to answer your question, depending on what stage of production copper is in, it is either being used or recycled a lot (80% of total copper mining ever).
