How many people have died as a result of the E. Coli outbreaks?

There’s no exact number, especially since E. Coli outbreaks can occur in many countries. Here’s a detailed overview of food-related diseases in the United States; E. Coli is spotlighted in the piece quite a bit. “We estimate that foodborne illness causes 5,020 deaths annually.” It’s difficult to say how many deaths are directly tied to E. Coli, but it’s a prevalent and dangerous illness stemming from food, so I’d guess the number isn’t unsubstantial.
