How many people are injured while using their cell phones and driving each year?

    During 2002, it was calculatd that approximately 330,000 people are injured as a result of using cell phones while driving. Additionally, 2,600 people die each year from cell-phone related accidents. Talking on cellular is the cause of nearly 25% of all accidents (edgarsnyder). Brain activity is reduced by 37 percent for those people who drive while using a cell phone, causing much distraction among American drivers (labovick).
