How many Palawan hornbills are left?

There are about 2,500-10,000 Palawan Hornbills left.  They are becoming more and more scarce because of deforestation.  Much of the deforestation is due to mining occuring in many of its habitats.  Also, Palawan Hornbills have had their nests raided by humans trying to match the growing demand for the Hornbills in the pet trade.
