The new Toyota Prius ideally gets 51 mpg in the city, 48 mpg on the highway, and 50 mpg combined. However, real world miles per gallon has been seen to be an “about 44 in the winter and about 47 in the spring/summer/fall when out side temp > 50F,” according to an owner (edmunds).
Toyota states that its 2010 prius will get 51 city MPG, 48 hwy, and a combined average of 50MPG total.
