How many killer whales are expected to be left in the wild?

The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources(IUCN) estimates that there is a minimum of 50,000 killer whales in the wild. There are probably more, but until more data on killer whale populations is available, we won’t know for sure.
