25 tons of carbon is not a lot for an industry to produce per year; the average North American individual produces about 20 tons per year. The highest carbon emitting industries are primary chemicals (26 million metric tons), food (20 million), stone clay and glass (22.8 million). (these figures are for industries in the United States).
The top carbon emitting industries are the Electric Power industry, the Auto Industry, and the oil industry. With the US producing nearly 1.7 billion metric tons of CO2 per year, I’d say each of these industries produces well over 25 tons each. Other major industries would be shipping and aviation.
