How many coal fired plants do you need to equal the production from one nuclear plant?

Different sizes and types of plants produce different amounts of energy, so there’s no precise equivalency rate. However, the world’s largest nuclear power plant, Kashiwazaki-Kariwa in Japan, has an installed capacity almost double that of the world’s largest coal-fired power plants, one of which is Kendal Power Station in South Africa. Bełchatów Power Station in Poland is another contender for the largest coal-fired plant, with a slightly higher but comparable installed capacity than Kendal.
