How many different Universes have we been able to identify so far?

The only identifiable universe is the one we inhabit. Science has no means to test for the existence of other universes, though there are many theories predicting the existence of other universes. Quantum theory has a lot to say on this topic, and builds up the concept of the “multiverse.”

The so-called “multiverse” is as of now only a hypothetical, but it would encompass multiple universes. The driving idea behind the multiverse is its encompassing of everything that could possibly exist in the domains of space and time. This “everything possible” thinking has resulted in scientists theorizing the the “multiverse” consists of an infinite set of parallel universes.
