A chicken egg takes 21 days to hatch after being laid. While Turkeys and Ducks take 28 days to hatch.
The ideal air moisture for incubating eggs is 50-55 percent. For optimum comfort of the developing chick inside, the egg should be placed in an incubator set between 99 and 103 degrees Fahrenheit, or below the body of a female chicken.
