The ozone hole usually only affects Antarctica directly, and it is not considered to be a country. However, it has appeared over areas like the southern tip of South America (which includes Argentina and Chile) and the Falkland Islands (a British territory) for brief periods of time. There is also an ozone-depleted area in the Arctic, but this only occurs for a few days at a time.
