How many logging companies actually re-plant the forests they deplete?

It may surprise you, but a majority of logging companies do replant the forests they cut down. Some estimates say that about 75 percent of the forests that were cut down in the past year have been replanted. While this is debatable, a lot of logging companies are required to replant, and many of them choose to do so to help business.
