Good question, Jared. According to sourcewatch.org, Washington is home to only one coal-fired power plant named Centralia Power Plant. It is owned and operated by TransAlta and is located near Centralia, Washington.

The state of Washington has only one coal plant today. Located in Centralia and owned by TransAlta, it was constructed in 2001. It is the highest-producing source of mercury in the state. The state government is also considering a law that would limit itself to one coal plant.
