Tamiflu-resistant bugs have shown to develop in 0.4 to 4% of those who are treated with seasonal influenza. A case in Hong Kong has shown this new super bug is able to be transmitted to others. A British newspaper reported that so far (article written in November, 2009), 57 cases of Tamiflu-resistance has been reported worldwide.
