There are about 90,000-100,000 Bryde’s whales left in the world.
In the eastern tropical Pacific the population of Bryde’s whales is 11,000-13,000, in the Hawaiian Islands it is 350-500, and in the northern Gulf of Mexico is 25-40. There is also an estimated population of 12 animals in the coastal waters of California, Oregon, and Washington. There are 90,000-100,000 animals worldwide, with two-thirds in the Northern Hemisphere.
