How many bald eagles are there in California?

According to the attached spreadsheet, purportedly created with data from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, records a population of 200 eagles in the state of California as of 2005. It’s likely, given how well bald eagles have been doing in most of the country, that the number has grown a fair amount in the intervening years. The spreadsheet also offers a handy breakdown of all bald eagle population estimates by state from 1990 onward.
