How many atoms makes up the human body?

In rough estimates, there are 7*10^27 atoms in a 70 kilogram body, ninety-nine percent of which are oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon. That’s 7 followed by 27 zeroes in a body weighing 154 pounds.

    I hope this helped!

For a more detailed description of the different types of atoms (and their numbers) that make up a human body, take a look at this website.

Did you know they estimate that a 70kg person (154 lbs as stated above) has 2 x 10^19 gold atoms in their body.  The majority of the atoms are hydrogen and oxygen, which makes sense because our body is largely water, which has the molecular formula H2O.
