The number of atoms in a molecule depends on the specific molecule. For example, an oxygen molecule has 2 oxygen atoms. Carbon dioxide is comprised of 3 atoms.
Molecules are groups of atoms linked together. They differ based on the compound you are discussing. Glucose for instance, sugar, is made up of 6 individual atoms of Carbon, 12 atoms of Hydrogen, and 6 atoms of oxygen, so one molecule of glucose has 24 atoms in it. Meanwhile, water has 2 atoms of Hydrogen and 1 atom of Oxygen, giving it a total of 3 atoms.
