How many animals have use asexual reproduction?

It’s almost impossible to say how many species use asexual reproduction.  Many creatures that use asexual reproduction are microscopic, and scientists believe that we have yet to discover the vast majority of microscopic animals because they’re so prolific and tiny. Examples of living things that produce asexually are amoebas, dandelions, jellyfish and corals.

Only a few seem to use asexual reproduction, such as jellyfish or echinoderms. The buds tend to break away and take up an independent existence.
