    There is a range of amps that will stop a human heart, and then amounts much smaller or much larger will not. Currents from 0.1 to 0.2 amps are the most dangerous and can cause a human to stop breathing. Currents a lot larger will instantly stop the heart, but the heart will many times start beating again on its own after.

    Yes, 100 mA (miniamps) can stop a human heart, which is .1 amps. This is the lowest amount that can leave a person dead caused by heart failure.
