How long will it take the radiation levels to drop in Japan?

    The government believes that radiation levels will drop by 40% in 2 years even without decontamination measures. Celsium-134 is one the main radio-active air contaminants after the Fukushima incident.

    Radiation levels have already dropped from 400 millisieverts an hour to 0.6 an hour. For perspective, people who became sick in the Chernobyl incident were expose to radiation levels of 800 – 1.6 million millisieverts.
