A nuclear power plant takes between seven and twelve years to be built and put into operation, which means Obama as president will probably never see one actually implemented. However, with federal grants and potential ways to cut red tape, it’s entirely possible they could reduce the time necessary. But still, I wouldn’t expect to see one until 2015 at least.
I hope this helped!
