Assuming that you seal your granite countertop, which is a pretty standard service even though it is pretty pricy, granite countertops basically last for as long as you want them. Granite is very strong and thus does not break down easily, and if you seal it then there won’t be any water damage to it which is the main problem associated with it. Most places offer a lifetime seal warranty, so unless you break off an edge of the countertop somehow, it should last as long as you still want granite countertops. There isn’t really a lifetime associated with granite.
