Not sure what exactly are you referring to. There have been droughts in various regions of Africa at various times. The Sahel (area south of the Sahara desert) goes through cycles of multi-decade drought and has a history of century-long droughts. East Africa is currently suffering a long drought, worst one in 20 years, after six failed rain seasons. One can’t refer to the whole continent having a drought, of course. Even though Sahara is the first thing coming to mind when thinking of the continent, central Africa is covered in rainforests, which are the wettest climate zone.
