The time depends on which method you’re using to pickle. If you’re fermenting a pickle, the cucumber soaked in brine solution can take 4 to 6 weeks to pickle. If you’re using the refrigerated dill method, a cucumber can take anywhere from 1 day to 1 week to pickle.
