How long does it take for an iceburg to melt?

This depends entirely on the location of the iceberg and the weather/climate that surrounds it.  As an area’s climate becomes warmer, the iceberg will inevitably diminish.  Also, as icebergs are apt to travel, they may make their way into warmer or colder climates.  How large the iceberg is and how much of it is submerged in water (determined by its density) will determine how long it “lives”.
