Human decomposition doesn’t result in dust. Cells in our body die causing flesh, muscles and organs to deteriorate. Because our bodies are organic matter, if the body decomposes on the ground or buried under the ground any nutrients left in the bodily matter is absorbed into the soil. This process can take a couple months or a year; depending on the climate of the place of decomposition and/or how deep the body is buried. Once the decomposition process is complete only the bones of the body are left. The bones do not deteriorate.
