    When the e-waste is just disposed in an area it immediately hurts the ecosystem, animals, and people who live near it. This is mainly because e-waste contains lead, cadmium, beryllium and brominated flame retardants. E-waste is a huge problem in developing countries, because the US dumps all of its waste on them. So the effects of e-waste are really almost instantaneous, in the sense that whoever and whatever lives near where it is thrown away will see health effects. More info can be found below.
