How long does it take for the water cycle to complete a cycle?

    The length of time for a hydrologic cycle to take place can be anywhere from a few days to thousands of years.  No specific length of time can be attributed because depending on what state the water is in because water molecules in ice, glaciers, and oceans may stay in their current state for many years, while water on land may take only a few days.
