How long does it take the corn ethanol cutlery to break down?

Corn-based cutlery will take over 180 days to decompose in a home compost pile, possible up to 18 months.. They require the heat, moisture, and air of composting in order to decompose, so throwing them in the trash will not lead to their decomposition. Such cutlery often decomposes best at professional composting facilities.
