How long does it take blood to cycle through the human body?

The human circulatory system is made up of two “circuits”: one to carry blood from the heart to the lungs, to absorb oxygen and dispel carbon dioxide, and one to then carry it throughout the rest of the body, to supply said oxygen to the cells. Blood makes a complete circuit of the system in two beats of your heart. The faster your heart beats, the faster your blood travels.
