How long do you think it’s going to take for an electric vehicle to be affordable?

Electric vehicles have already become affordable. Take the Nissan Leaf which came out this year. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $32,780, but a $7,500 federal tax credit lowers the cost to $25,280 and some states like California offer even more tax credits. It also costs less to charge the car than a conventional vehicle. Compare this with the best selling vehicles last year, the Ford f-series which costs upwards of 22,000
