Seeds last two to five years on average, depending on the type of seed. Radish and turnip seeds are some of the longest lasting, with a shelf life of about 5 years. Others with a long life are: cauliflower, tomato, watermelon (a fruit obviously), eggplant, cucumber, and squash.
