How long do vegetable seeds last?

Seeds last two to five years on average, depending on the type of seed. Radish and turnip seeds are some of the longest lasting, with a shelf life of about 5 years. Others with a long life are: cauliflower, tomato, watermelon (a fruit obviously), eggplant, cucumber, and squash.
