In the wild, tigers usually live about 10-15 years. They face harsher conditions in the wild, and have shorter lifespans due to starvation, territorial fighting and other dangers. In captivity, tigers live an average of 16-20 years old. The oldest, a captive tiger in Australia, lived to be 26.
It all depends on the species of tiger. The Siberian Tiger can live up to 25 years in the natural habitat.
