That entirely depends on the person. Teeth can last your whole lifetime as long as you don’t eat too much bad food and keep your teeth healthy. But bad dental hygiene along with a poor diet can lead to serious gum and tooth decay.
Teeth are calcified structures that are actually more resilient then bones. They decay slower than bones do, and are often times well preserved as fossils. This gives scientists a good look at the diet and eating habits of the animals they belonged to. In ideal conditions, a fossilized tooth can last for million, perhaps even billions of years.
