How long do sand dollars live for?

    Sand Dollars have an average life span of eight years and grow to about 75 mm.  Their main predators are California Sheephead and the Starry Flounder.  To avoid predators, they burrow into the sand.  Sand Dollars can be found on sandflats from Alaska to Southern California.
