Though it varies from breed to breed, on average, horses usually live between twenty and thirty years. Ponies tend to live a bit longer — it’s not uncommon for a healthy pony to hit 40.
It really depends on the horse, but like Maddie said, typically between 20 and 30 years. The Guinness Book of World Records states that the oldest horse lived to be 62 years old. It is said that everyone 1 human year is equal to 3 horse years.
