How long do ladybugs live?

According to National Geographic, the average Ladybug (Coccinella septempunctata) lives for 1-3 years in the wild. This range of answers is likely due to the difficulty of tracking the small insects. Ladybugs lay hundreds of eggs in the colonies of Aphids and other prey insects. The larval stage lasts for around 3-6 weeks, during which the larval Ladybug eats thousands of the smaller Aphids.
